Senior Chemist/Chemist (Singapore)
Responsibilities:
- Industrially experienced and result-driven chemist to initiate and to be responsible for new local chemistry development activities
- Work closely with application engineering and materials development teams to develop novel polymer materials and customer specific solutions
- Synthesize and characterize new polymers and contribute to the development based on direct process team interaction
- Participate for company's R&D facility setup by process transfers and qualification of characterization equipment
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments
Requirements:
- MS or Ph.D. degree in chemistry, material science or chemical engineering.
- Preferably minimum 5 years' experience in development of specialty polymers and materials.
- Solid track record of meeting project timelines and development commitments.
- Innovator with a proven ability to develop novel materials.
- Hands on experience in synthesis and characterization of monomer and polymer materials.
- Preferably experience in electronics chemicals industry such as photo resist materials.
- Good command of English (both written and spoken).
Senior Application Engineer / Application Engineer (Singapore)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the process development, integration and implementation of advanced packaging technology for high performance semiconductor, optoelectronic solutions and touch panel applications.
- Work interactively with local and global engineering teams to develop processes based on novel material technologies to satisfy customers' needs.
- Participate with product and device roadmap definition; define process specifications and roadmap guidelines.
- Conduct product and technology benchmarking, review product and technology opportunities, initiate product development opportunities, and prepare product technical documents.
Education/Experience:
- MS or Ph.D. degree in Materials Science or Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical)
- Preferably minimum 3 years of experience in Backend-of-line processes, photolithographic processes, dielectric and photo resist materials, Packaging assembly (passivation, RDL, bumping, singulation, testing); Understanding of opto-semiconductor devices such as CMOS image sensor processes as well as touch panel dielectric process and applications are advantages.
- Working in a matrix organization to support resources from various areas such as process development, materials development, technical sales, customer manufacturing operations, and other external partners including vendors and research collaborators is an advantage.
- Persistent in engineering problem solving; must be pro-active as well as dynamic and creative problem solver. Track record in successful commercial engineering programs is required.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Good command of English (both written and spoken)
